Featuring large African game targets — including the famous giraffe — this course allows shots anywhere from 30 to 130 yards. Built for archers who love stretching their limits, the African Safari Course delivers long-range challenges that will test skill, confidence, and execution.
If you’re looking to send it, this is your course.

The Amazon Trail delivers wild target presentations you’d only expect to find deep in the jungle.
This course combines tough shot angles with rugged terrain, forcing archers to stay focused and adaptable from start to finish. Expect unconventional setups, creative target placements, and challenging footing that demand full attention on every shot.
Beginning just below the Trophy Lodge, the Amazon Trail winds its way through technical terrain before finishing at the Marina. From there, you can jump into the novelty shoots, test your long-range skills, or hang out and soak in the Bowfest atmosphere.
The Amazon Trail is unpredictable, technical, and built for archers who like
their courses with a little edge.
The Appalachian Trail Course brings elevation, intensity, and some of the best views on the mountain.
Featuring up-and-down terrain with steep angled shots, this course challenges archers to adapt, adjust, and execute under real-world conditions. Short to medium shots wind through heavy wooded areas, creating tighter shooting lanes and a true technical test of skill.
Conveniently starting just below the Trophy Lodge, the course finishes at the marina — where the action continues. Wrap up your round with novelty shoots, long-range challenges, and a well-earned cold beverage.
The Appalachian Trail is built for archers who want the grind, the beauty,
and the full Bowfest experience.
The Heartland Course is pure Midwest hunting style.
Designed as an easy walk through open terrain with scattered tree placement, this course features easy to medium shots with minimal elevation change. Flat shooting angles make it approachable and enjoyable for every archer — from first-time competitors to seasoned bowhunters.
Expect realistic setups, clean lanes, and comfortable pacing that keeps you
focused on execution rather than terrain fatigue. The Heartland Course delivers
a true-to-form hunting experience that feels familiar, fair, and fun.
The Hills Course is made famous as the home of the Nockturnal Night Shoots.
Starting at the breathtaking Trophy Lodge, this course immediately descends back and forth across the caverns of the ski hill, delivering long-range targets and demanding shot opportunities. Expect serious elevation changes and angles that force you to stay disciplined on every draw.
Make sure your bubble is centered — you won’t be standing flat-footed for long.
This course blends distance, terrain, and technical execution, making it a true test in both daylight and under the lights. It conveniently finishes just above Bowfest Central, where you can relax, regroup, or plan your next adventure.
The Hills Course is where precision meets pressure.

The Stairs Course is known for its extreme downhill shot angles and demanding target presentations.
Built for archers who thrive on technical challenges, this course features steep vertical drops and sharp angle compensation requirements that test your setup and execution. If you’re looking to get in a quick but intense shoot, this is your run.
With 15 targets and five shooting platforms, multiple archers can shoot simultaneously from three distinctly different platform levels — each offering its own shot perspective and difficulty.
This course runs on a single pin set, so make sure you’re dialed from 20–60 yards and ready to trust your angle compensation. And bring at least five arrows before you step up — you need them.
The Stairs Course is fast, aggressive, and not for the unprepared.

The Western Edge is not for the faint of heart.
Steep angles, aggressive up-and-down elevation changes, and rugged terrain create the ultimate out-west style challenge. With some of the best views on the property, this course combines breathtaking scenery with serious shot difficulty.
Western-themed targets are set to test distance judgment, angle compensation, and endurance. You’ll climb, descend, and earn every arrow on this one.
By the time you finish, you’ll know you’ve put in the work — which makes it fitting that the course ends at the Base Lodge near Bowfest Central. Catch your breath, grab a refreshment, or hop on the chairlift back to the top to start the adventure all over again.
The Western Edge delivers grit, grind, and the full mountain experience.
